Collin Sexton beats Nets’ Kyrie Irving, James Harden & Kevin Durant alone within the double OT
Collin Sexton wasn’t trickling with the artistic flow of Kyrie Irving when he destroyed the nets in double overtime, but his pull-up jumpers and drives against Irving and Kevin Durant carried a lethal dose.
In the 1:31 time span, Sexton scored 11 points alone, including three 3-point points against the Brooklyn defenders. He finished the game with a career high of 42 points, five rebounds, five assists and only one turnover in 38 minutes when his Cavaliers defeated the Nets 147-135.
The feat came when the Nets played their first game with Irving, Durant, and newly acquired James Harden together on the floor, indulging a night in which Irving himself scored 37 points.

Sexton, now in his third NBA season, isn’t far from being a rookie exposed to vitriol by his own teammates. Back then, Cavaliers veterans anonymously tore him into the media and said he didn’t know how to play. His teammates dipped him into the water on Wednesday evening and shouted: “Yes, boy!”
Sexton is now an integral part of Cleveland’s long-term plans, representing half of his future backcourt alongside Darius Garland. He’s a flawed player – his holds take work and his defenses remain shaky – but he is well worth the investment of his organization.
Sexton scores an average of 27 points per game after the dominant performance against the nets. He caught the attention of people around the NBA with the scoring outbreak.
Collin Sexton single-handedly set $ 114 million on fire. my God.
