LLM chats: We take 5 minutes to speak with Tom Glover, MD of the celebrated British trend label Peregrine

The longtime Peregrine brand has a rich history and has been known for making 100 percent British clothing for 220 years. The brand offers lines for both men and women. Expect expertly made outwear and cozy knitwear in the form of cable knit sweaters, cardigans with longer cords, and funnel neck sweaters to guide you through the winter.

At the heart of the brand is their proud production process as they are committed to making only the best quality garments with minimal impact on the environment and complete transparency – all materials are carefully checked and tracked.

Felicity Williams spoke to Tom Glover, the label’s chief executive officer, about the Peregrine manufacturing process and how he expects the brand to build on its 220 years.

Tell us how it all started

The brand started in 1796 and was founded by my great-great-grandfather (also called) Thomas Glover. He started out as a pocket man in the Leicester market. This was a great place for him as Leicester was the wool capital of Europe at the time.
