NBA Playoffs 2021 – Trae Younger and Ja Morant complain about Nikola Jokic’s ejection

Game 4 of the NBA playoff series between the Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns took a dramatic turn as Denver big man Nikola Jokic, the league’s newly crowned MVP, for a blatant foul 2 with 3:52 remaining in the third quarter and the nuggets was excluded eight points behind the suns.

Jokic punched Cameron Payne of the Suns savagely, slapping Payne in the face as he punched hard to knock the ball loose. The foul came after Jokic failed to receive a call from a one-handed runner when he briefly threw to a referee and gestured.

Sun’s star Devin Booker immediately confronted Jokic when the teams had a brief row before they split up.

After he was ejected, Jokic appeared to be apologizing to Payne.

People quickly got involved on social media, with NBA stars Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks and Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies being among those who found the ejection too harsh, especially in an elimination game. Denver had fallen 3-0 in the series that entered Game 4 on Sunday night, and Phoenix finished the sweep with a 125-118 decision.

Playoffs. Elimination game. give him a blatant 1 and play ball man.
