Tyrrell Hatton turned the fowl round, snapped a membership, and was typically dissatisfied with The Open
Tyrrell Hatton was never shy about showing his feelings. That was clear on Friday. After missing a putt at The Open, Hatton walked over to the hole and tee off a member of the gallery.
The middle finger greeting was captured by the camera during the broadcast and was clearly visible as he watched his ball roll towards the hole. A hot microphone also enabled viewers to hear Hatton cursing saying “f — ing bollocks” to fans near the 11th green as he walked out of the hole.

This wasn’t the first time Hatton had voiced his frustration on the golf course; In fact, it wasn’t the first time in the second round on Friday that his emotions spilled over.
After hitting a bad shot earlier in his round, Hatton decided to take his frustration on his racket by breaking it in half with his foot.

In 2020, at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Hatton used his club as a shotgun and aimed at a pond to show his disgust.
I missed this the first time, but Tyrrell Hatton sure gave the pond the old shotgun blow on the 11th. pic.twitter.com/dqwKbrG2ks

Hatton’s second round on Friday was a roller coaster ride that mimicked his emotions. In the front he even shot par. On the back he had three birdies, a par and a double bogey on the first five holes. He just posted par 70 for the day. He stands at 2 over for the tournament and is currently 1 shot off the cut line.
