USA vs. Australia exhibition canceled; Well being protocols cited
USA Basketball announced late Thursday that the men’s Olympic exhibition game against Australia scheduled for Friday had been canceled due to “health and safety protocols”.
The game was canceled “as a precautionary measure,” USA Basketball said in a statement.
Early Thursday, Team USA added security guard Bradley Beal to their health and safety logs. It’s not clear whether Beal tested positive for COVID-19. However, Beal is under quarantine, which means he will not be attending the Tokyo Olympics.

The American exhibition against Spain on Sunday continues. This game will be Team USA’s last before Tokyo heads to Tokyo. The US women’s team is still playing against Australia on Friday afternoon. His last show will be against Nigeria on Sunday.
